Day 1:  Arrival in Bangkok
Meals: None
Welcome to Thailand. After clearing the entry formalities, exit into the arrival Area and meet your private guide from Khiri Travel. He/she will be holding a sign with your names on it. Transfer to your hotel to relax after your long international flight.

Overnight at Royal River – Bangkok

Day 2:  Bangkok
Meals: B
You will be picked up at the hotel and transfer to Grand China Princess Hotel.
The tour will start at 7 AM at the Grand China Princess Hotel. This bicycle tour begins in the always colorful and exciting Chinatown. After an interesting hour we cross the river and continue through a lively low-class area. This is thereal Bangkok. A half hour later, give or take, we take a break on a longtail boat ride, which lasts about 20 minutes. The bicycles are transported on the back of the boat, which makes our tours more adaptable, comfortable and above all: relaxing. You will immediately understand why Bangkok is called the “Venice of the East”. This boat ride takes you to the “forgotten” green areas of rural Bangkok. A warm smile here; a handshake there; people are really warm and friendly! Roughly an hour before returning, we enjoy a delicious local light meal.
Transfer back to your hotel by biking company.

Day 3:              Bangkok – Chiang Mai

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Chiang Mai. Fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free to explore Chiang Mai on own. We need a copy of your picture page and the page with the Thai visa stamp of your passport for registration with the tourist police before you go on trekking.

Day 4:  Chiang Mai

(Join-in Trekking) You will be picked up at 09.00 at the hotel by your trekking guide. You will drive to the North into the mountains. On the way, you’ll stop at Mae Ma Lai local market. Your guide will do some shopping for the coming days. He will invite you to come along and will explain about the different ingredients he will be using for dinner. After lunch we will make a short ride to a Akha village.
We will start our trek with the first hike to Pang Deng village, which is part of one of the Royal projects. Here the guide will explain about this interesting agricultural project. After this visit we will start trekking to Pang Hoo, a Palong village where you will stay overnight. There are only a handful of Palong villages in Northern Thailand. The Palong tribe only recently moved to Thailand from Burma and wear a distinctive costume mostly in red, with rattan hoops worn around the waist.
Your guide will introduce you to the Thai Kitchen and will explain you about all the different herbs we use for the Thai dishes, after that you can help him to cook the dinner. He will invite you to one of the local houses to hear stories about life and history of the village.

Day 5:  Chiang Mai

After breakfast this morning we will start trekking to a nearby elephant camp. You willl

ride on of these majestic animals for one hour. After this exhilirating elephant ride we will continue trekking to a waterfall where you will have time for a refreshing swim. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at the waterfall. After lunch we will continue our trek through the forest. Your guide will take his time to explain you about the natural environment. We walk out of the forest into the ricefields of the Lahu. “Obu uja” is hello in Lahu language. The Lahu are skillful hunters. Once we have arrived in the village you can rest for a while or spend some time playing with the children. Your guide will prepare your evening meal for you all, and if you like you can join him to prepare dinner. At the campfire after dinner you will hear the story of the Lahu from your guide.

Day 6:  Chiang Mai

After breakfast this morning we will trek to an Akha village. This is the most primitive and charismatic tribe in Thailand. The Akha are one the most interesting tribes living in South East Asia due to their very strong traditional beliefs. The women wear characteristic headdresses ornamented with coins. Here we will spend some time to look around in the village. After a short rest we’ll travel by truck to a riverside camp where a bamboo raft will be waiting for you. Your helmsman will manoevre the raft through the gentle rapids. After the raft trip it is time for lunch. Drive back to Chiang Mai by truck. On the way back we will make a stop at an orchid nursery.

Day 7:  Chiang Mai

Flight of the Gibbon Chiang Mai is a unique zip line canopy tour through pristine forest outside of Chiang Mai. 18 platforms, skybridges and lowering stations connect 2kms of zip lines that take you through different layers of the rainforest canopy. Your zip line easily from tree to tree on a spectacular and gradual downhill course, taking time to linger in your favorite places, soaking up the fragrance, clean air and animal life. The safety team accompanies you and teaches you how to move through the trees with the speed and grace of a young gibbon. You will be picked up from your hotel around 07.00. Around 15.00 you will be back at your hotel.
We suggest wearing long pants and T-shirt or polo shirt. Sports shoes or other shoes that will not drop off easily are highly recommended. Please avoid excessive or dangling jewelry. It’s a good idea to bring a camera to catch the action! Backpacks and sunglasses are an unnecessary burden and there are storage facilities in the office when you arrive. It’s also good to bring an open mind and a smile… See you in the treetops!

Overnight at Karinthip Village (Deluxe Room) – Chiang Mai

Day 8:  Chiang Mai – Bangkok – Hua Hin
Meals: B
This morning, you will be met and transferred to the airport for a flight to Bangkok.
Fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Hua Hin. Rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Overnight at Hua Hin Mantra Resort – Hua Hin

Day 9:  Hua Hin
Meals: B
Free day to laze on the beach, eat seafood, go swimming, take a boat tour, etc.
Overnight at Hua Hin Mantra Resort  – Hua Hin

Day 10:  Hua Hin – Bangkok
Meals: B
Hua Hin – Bangkok
Today, you will be transferred back to Bangkok.
