Day 2: Pretoria and surrounding
Very early morning Hot Air Ballooning in the area of Hartebeespoort Dam – go up and breathe the fresh air while you quietly glide along the country side. After a champagne breakfast visit the VoortrekkerMonument, Paul Kruger House and the UnionBuildings.
Day 3: Pretoria to Timbavati Game Reserve – Panorama Route
Leave Pretoria in the early morning and drive east. After a short break continue via the Panarama Route along the Blyde River Canyon, The Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window. Arrive at Private Game Reserve Timbavati where you check in and experience your first safari – a night drive.

Days 4 and 5: Safari and the Big Five!
The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve (TPNR) comprises 53,392 hectares of private land adjoining the Kruger National Park (KNP).
Full day 4×4 safaris in Timbavati and Kruger National Park in open game vehicles at sunrise or sunset. This is an ideal way to spot the Big Five and many more species that are home in this beautiful bush. Night drives and guided bush walks are also possible.
2 Overnights at Timbavati Private Game Reserve
Day 6: Kingdom of Swaziland
After a morning safari leave Timbavati and drive south into the Kingdom of Swaziland where you stop for lunch, visit a candle factory and local craft market before you continue to Mkhaya for a different Safari experience: overnight in a Stone Camp in an open stone cottage with NO electricity!!! Smell and feel the African Bush! Mkhaya is home to the threatened species of Black Rhino!

Day 7: St Lucia – world heritage site
Continue the tour towards the Indian Ocean and travel to St Lucia, where Hippo’s, Bush Buck, Red duiker and Monkeys roam the streets freely. Hundreds of bird species can be observed through out the town. One of the best ways to explore the wildlife and nature is on a boat trip.

Day 8: Durban
Drive South to Durban, the capital of KwaZulu Natal. Durban is a charming city along the warm Indian Ocean. Visit the Indian market and uShaka, the fascinating marine world Aquarium. Or simply walk along the beach…

Day 9: Tsitsikamma
Flight to Port Elizabeth and start the tour along the famous Garden Route! Drive into TsitsikammaNational Park, enjoy the forests and mountain scenery while you are so close to the kilometre-wide white sandy beaches.

Day 10 and 11: Knysna
Continue along the ocean through Plettenberg Bay to the pearl of the Garden Route, the lagoon city Knysna. Taste fresh oysters or take a boat trip on the lagoon or simply explore the Waterfront with the many souvenir shops, galleries and craft markets.Visits to the Featherbed Nature Reserve and the Western Knysna Head are very recommendable.

Day 12: Hermanus
Continue via the Garden Route to Hermanus, the whale watching capital. If you are here in the months of July to November you can spend hours sitting on the nearby cliffs or walk along the cliff paths to watch the giants of the sea frolicking in the shallow water. Out of whale season Hermanus is still a very pretty fishing village worth while to explore. Visit the craft market and enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the village.

Day 13: Winelands
Leave Hermanus and drive inland via spectacular mountain passes to visit the wine city Franschhoek. This little town is famous for its European flair and its art galleries, markets and of course fantastic food! Continue to Stellenbosch, second oldest city of the country and university city. Explore the town with its CapeDutch architecture and visit some of the wine estates around. Go on cellar tour and taste the popular grapes of the Cape!

Day 13: Cape Town City tour and Table Mountain
In the morning little walking tour of Stellenbosch before you continue to the final destination, the mother city Cape Town!.The short drive to Cape Town is followed by a city tour, including the Castle, Bo Kaap Quarter, District 6 etc. In the late afternoon the Cable Car takes you to the top of Table Mountain for either a nice stroll along the beautiful garden of fynbos. For the remainder of the evening time at leisure at the V&A Waterfront. Your accommodation will be in walking distance to the Waterfront.
3 Overnights in Cape Town
Day 14: Cape Peninsula and Cape of Good Hope
Drive along the Atlantic seaboard, the breathtaking coastal road Chapman’s Peak Drive (subject to it being open) and into the Cape Point Nature Reserve where you visit famous sights such as Cape Point Lighthouse and Cape of Good Hope. In the afternoon drive along False Bay to the naval city of Simon’s Town, visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. If time allows stop at the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden.
Late afternoon return to accommodation.
Day 15: Cape Town at leisure – departure
Depending on your time of departure you can probably still have enough time to explore the oldest town of South Africa by yourself. Things to do and see: enjoy the V&A Waterfront and the shopping center. Visit the clock tower and relax sitting in one of the many cafés or restaurants to experience the maritime flair of this magic city. Or visit the Two Oceans Aquarium to see some sharks safely behind the glass walls.
On time for your homebound flight a transfer from the accommodation to the airport will be arranged for you.
